What currency are your prices in?
We are based in sunny Los Angeles and all prices displayed are in US dollars (USD).

Do you have a 'gift' option?
Sorry, we don’t offer a gift option yet.

What if I need to change my order?
Once an order is placed, we’re unable to make any change. Sorry about that!

What if I need to cancel an order?
If your order hasn’t shipped, just go the the Orders and Returns tab under your account , click into the order, and then click "Cancel Order”. Once canceled, you’ll receive a refund confirmation email shortly!

How can I edit my shipping address?
If your order is shipping to an incorrect address, please contact Customer Love right away.

What’s the status of my order?
Once you’ve received your shipping confirmation email you can click on 'Track It' and see the status of your delivery. It may take 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.

What if something I ordered arrived damaged?
Oh no! Contact us right away.

My package is lost!
Oh no! If your package has been lost in transit, please reach out to Customer Love right away.

After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.

What does it mean if an item is Waitlisted?
If an item is Waitlisted it means that we will most likely be making more! Sign up with your email and let us know your preferred color and size. We will email you to let you know if it becomes available.

What is an e-gift card?
An e-gift card is a credit that you can apply to a purchase. You can redeem an e-gift card at checkout or apply it to your account under Payment Info. If you select it as the payment option at checkout it will be applied to your purchase. Sorry, e-gift cards cannot be retroactively applied to an order once it has been placed.

Where can I purchase a Reformation e-gift card?
You can purchase an e-gift card here. E-gift cards cannot be used to purchase another e-gift card.

Can I use e-gift cards online and in store?
Yes! We've got you covered.

What does Final Sale mean?
All items marked final sale have been reduced in price and cannot be returned for a refund, e-gift card or exchange.

Can I return Final Sale items? What if it was a gift?
Final Sale items cannot be returned. No exceptions will be made for sizing, fit, or fabric issues. We understand that buying Final Sale items can be tricky, so if you have any questions about the style, please reach out to Customer Love before placing your order. Sorry, but items purchased as a gift are still applicable to our 'Final Sale' policy and cannot be returned.

What if a Final Sale item I ordered arrived damaged?
Oh no! Contact us right away.

Something I ordered is now on sale. Will you match the new price?
Sorry, price adjustments will not be done for items at a reduced price. We only offer sales for a limited time, so by buying early, you ensure that you get the style in the color and size you want!

How much does shipping cost in the U.S.?
We offer free ground shipping on all orders within the U.S.

How fast is your shipping?
Most of our orders are shipped within 2 business days of purchase from our sunny Los Angeles warehouse, pending availability and credit verification. Once your order is shipped, we estimate you will receive your order within 5-7 business days of its ship date if you are located within the continental U.S., or 2-4 weeks if you are located in Hawaii or Alaska. If you need your item(s) sooner, please select an expedited shipping option. Shipping times may vary, but rest assured we work our hardest to get you your order as quickly as possible. Any additional shipping costs are nonrefundable.

We do not ship on the weekend or U.S. holidays, and we do not offer Saturday delivery yet.

Do you offer overnight shipping?
Yes! We offer overnight shipping for orders within the U.S. You can select Next Day Air for $35 at checkout. See the chart below for delivery information. This shipping cost is nonrefundable. We do not ship on the weekend or U.S. holidays, and we do not offer Saturday delivery yet.

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
Sorry, we can’t ship to P.O. boxes yet. If you entered a P.O. box as your delivery address we will reach out to get an alternative address which may delay your delivery.

How much does international shipping cost?
We offer free international shipping on orders over $250 USD. A country-specific shipping fee will be applied at checkout on orders less than $250 USD.

What countries do you ship to?

  1. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) countries
  2. DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) countries

Are taxes and duties included in my order total?
Deliveries to some countries are shipped on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis, which means you will not have to pay these fees separately when your order arrives. Duties and taxes are calculated based on the items ordered, your shipment destination and the value of your purchase, and are added to your order total in the shopping cart. Duties and taxes are nonrefundable.

This charge is determined by your local customs authority and includes:

  1. The Sales Tax applied by your country for purchases from the U.S. and
  2. Duties charged for processing by your country.

How fast is your international shipping?
Most of our orders are shipped within 2 business days of purchase from our sunny Los Angeles warehouse, pending availability and credit verification. Once your order is shipped, we estimate you will receive your order within 3-8 business days of its ship date. Shipping times may vary, but rest assured we work our hardest to get you your order as quickly as possible. Please note, we do not ship on the weekend or US holidays.

Can I get my international order faster?
Right now we do not offer expedited international shipping. However, we ship all international orders via express service so you will receive your order within 3-8 business days, and sometimes quicker!

Do you ship to international P.O. boxes?
Sorry, we can’t ship to P.O. boxes yet. If you entered a P.O. box as your delivery address we will reach out to get an alternative address which may delay your delivery.

Returns

What is your online return policy?
For online orders, we accept stuff in new condition with original tags attached for a full refund. There’s no restocking fee and return shipping is free for returns within the US. We also offer easy returns for our international customers!

You have 21 days from the ship date to have your return dropped off and scanned at a USPS location. Your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used to make the purchase. Please note that all apothecary, lingerie, pierced jewelry, and sale items are final sale.

Reformation monitors returns to identify potential misuse or abuse of our return policies. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

What if my return is late?
Any returns dropped off at USPS after 21 days from the ship date are ineligible for return and will be automatically reshipped to the customer upon receipt at our warehouse.

What if I need to exchange something for a different size or color?
Sorry, we are unable to process exchanges. If you would like to exchange something for a different size or color, please return the original item(s) and place a new order.

When will I get my refund?
Once we receive your return, please allow 3-4 business days for your return to be processed at our factory and then 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account. Your refund can only be credited back to the original form of payment. We’ll send you an email when our team has processed your refund so you know it’s on the way.

Can I return my online order in-store?
You can! Any of our stores can assist with your online return. If preferred, you can request a return for an e-gift card but online orders cannot be exchanged.

What is your in store return policy?
For in store purchases, we accept returns back for e-gift card or exchange only within 14 days of purchase. We accept items in new condition with original tags attached. Please note that all apothecary, lingerie, hosiery, pierced jewelry, eyewear, vintage, and sale items are final sale. Please return the stuff you buy in­-store back to the store.

How do I return an order from within the US?
For our US customers, we provide a pre-paid return label to make it super easy for you to send it back.

To create your return, please:

  1. Put anything you don’t want in a mailer.
  2. Login to your Reformation account, click on Orders and Returns, then follow the on-screen steps to create and print a prepaid return label. Make sure to note down your tracking number so you can check on the status of your return.
  3. Stick the return label on the mailer.
  4. Drop off the mailer at any USPS drop off location or schedule a pickup at USPS.

*Please only send returns using our pre-paid return labels so that we can track your stuff. We cannot refund a lost return that was sent using a method other than our return labels.

How do I return an order from outside the US?
We offer easy return shipping for our international customers. If you are sending back a return from outside the US, just reach out to Customer Love with your order number and the items you want to return, and we will provide a prepaid return label. There is a $20 fee for international returns that will be deducted from your refund when the return is processed. Pick-ups are not included in this service. Any duties and taxes paid are nonrefundable. Sorry, but this service is not available for some countries right now; if you're in Puerto Rico or Hong Kong please send back your stuff using your own courier.

In your return please:

  1. Put anything you don’t want in a mailer.
  2. Tape the prepaid label on the mailer.
  3. Get the package to carrier on the label.

You can also choose to send your stuff back to us using your preferred courier service. You will be responsible for any return shipping fees. Any duties and taxes paid are nonrefundable.

Do you have anywhere I can try things on?
Yes! If you are in Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Boston or San Francisco you can shop at one of our stores.

What is your in-store return policy?

How do I set up a bridal appointment?
Congratulations! If you’d like to try on our bridal styles in store, please email us at weddinghelp@thereformation.com to make an appointment. We have bridal appointments available at our Culver City, Mission District, and Lower East Side stores. If you can’t make it to one of our stores, don’t sweat it. We can set up a time for you to chat with a Bridal Specialist. We will discuss all the details and see what we can do to help with your big day.

Size and fit

How do I know which size will fit me best?
The size guides on the product pages serve as a general guideline for helping you find your size in Ref. Our silhouettes vary from slim-fitting to oversized, so each style will have different measurements. If you have questions about a specific style’s measurements, you can always reach out to our Customer Love team. Please include your bust, waist, and high hip/low hip measurements with your note and we’ll help you out.


Can I order a custom dress for my wedding, bridal party, or just because?
Unfortunately, we do not offer custom dresses as we don’t have the production capacity to make it happen just yet. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about our current collection — we can offer recommendations and hopefully find you something you love!

Garment care

How do I care for my Reformation items?
Each item is unique and may require different care. Attached to each garment is a care label that will provide you with care instructions to maintain the quality of your item.

Professionally Clean
85% of dry cleaners use a nasty chemical called Perc that’s linked to respiratory issues, birth defects, and air pollution. Skip the standard dry cleaning and opt for green dry—a non-toxic, environmentally safe alternative. These cleaners often use CO2 or water as the primary solvent, but they have fancy equipment so it’s not like washing it at home. Even if your dry cleaner advertises as 'green' or 'organic,' be sure to ask if they use Perc, hydrocarbons, or D-5 cleaners, and be sure to avoid the toxic stuff. Just say no to Perc.

You can also bring your own reusable hangers and garment bags. If you need the disposable stuff, we recommend returning wire hangers to your professional cleaner for reuse. Find a local plastic film recycling drop off to recycle bags from the cleaner, and also other flexible plastics at home. You can find one here.

We have a few green cleaners we recommend in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, and Dallas. A few near our stores offer deals for Reformation customers so be sure to mention the discount when you drop off! If you don’t live in these cities, try searching for eco cleaners in your area using sites like No Dry Clean, or Yelp.

Hand Wash
Fill a sink with cold water. Add a tablespoon of delicate soap--scan the label and choose a plant-based detergent free of fragrance, optical brighteners, chlorine, and phosphates that are all bad for you and the environment. We recommend brands like Seventh Generation, Meyer’s, Honest Company, Method, or Earth Friendly Products. Place your item into the water and gently swirl it around for a few minutes. Drain and refill the sink with clean, cold water. Rinse your garment by swishing it around once more, and then gently press it to remove excess water. Be careful to not wring or twist, as this can distort its shape. Reshape the garment on a dry towel. Roll up the towel, pressing as you go, to help extract the water still left in the garment. Finally, reshape the garment, and lay it flat on a drying rack or on a fresh towel to air dry.

Wash Cold
Wash clothes in cold water, as opposed to warm or hot, and always wait until you have a full load. Scan the label and choose a plant-based detergent free of fragrance, optical brighteners, chlorine, and phosphates that are all bad for you and the environment. We recommend brands like Seventh Generation, Meyer’s, Honest Company, Method, or Earth Friendly Products. Hang or lay flat to dry.

DIY Laundry Detergent
If you’re feeling extra eco, spend a Sunday afternoon mixing equal parts of washing soda, borax and grated Dr. Bronner’s soap and store in a mason jar. Use 1-2 tablespoons per load and add a few drops essential oils of your choice at the time of wash. That’s it!

Line Drying
Dryers have a high energy demand and can cause clothes to fade. We recommend line drying in a shaded spot, or on an indoor curtain rod. Turn bright or dark items inside out to reduce fading, including jeans.

Steaming & Ironing
A lot of fabrics can be steamed or ironed on a low setting, but we recommend you test a small area first. Use a dry iron on low for anything structured like a blazer or jacket—do not steam as it may affect the shape. If a fabric is shiny or has embellishments, do not iron.
