Pre-Order FAQ

Why should I pre-order an item?

Our stuff sells out pretty fast, so purchasing an item on pre-order secures that super special thing in your size and style before it’s totally gone.

How does Reformation’s pre-order work?

Full payment is due at checkout to secure your size and style of a pre-order item. When the item arrives at our warehouse, we will ship it within two business days. The estimated ship date is on the product page, your order page, cart, and checkout. We’ll send you a shipping confirmation email when your pre-order ships.


How do I know if an item is a pre-order?

All pre-order items will be clearly marked as pre-order and an estimated shipping date will display on the product page, your order page, cart, and checkout. 


When will my Reformation pre-order ship?

You will receive an automatic email with tracking information to the email address associated with your order when it ships.


What if my order has some items that are pre-order and some items available now?

We will ship out items in your order that are not on pre-order within two business days. We will ship pre-order items together once inventory for all items has been received.

When will I be charged for my pre-order?  

If using a credit or debit card, you will be charged once your item ships or within five business days of placing the order–whichever happens first. If you’re using any other payment method, you will be charged at the time of purchase.

What is the return policy on pre-order items?

All pre-order items follow our standard return policy. You can read more about the details here. 


What if I change my mind? Can I cancel my pre-order?

You can cancel within 30 minutes of placing the order. To cancel an order, go to Order Lookup, enter your email and order number, click ‘Cancel Order,’ and then click ‘Confirm order cancellation.’ Once canceled, you’ll receive a refund confirmation email shortly. If you still need to cancel after 30 minutes, email Customer Love. 

Can I change my shipping address?

You can change your address within 30 minutes of placing the order by cancelling it and re-ordering with the correct address through the Order Lookup page. If you need to change your address any time after that, email us at and we can update your address if the order hasn’t shipped and your new address is in the same country as the original address.
